So I loved this story. Wow finally got some answers to questions that were in the Ice Planet Barbarians series. So you might be reading this review to answer whether you should start this new series or not. So I would tell you honestly to start with Ice Planet Barbarians. It is a wonderful series and there are things in this story that will be more meaningful to you if you read that series first. You of course can start with this series if you want but some of the people will be a mystery to you if you do. Some of the folks in this story around the campfires come from the other series where this story originated from. If you decide to start with that one then you need to read through book 16 then Icehome book one is next.Which ever way you choose I think you will love this story. It is a definite keeper.The story is about Lauren and Kthar. I loved Kthar he was by far the best barbarian so far. I loved how the author put the characters on the island in the middle of the ocean and how she tied so much from the original series into this book. It was very well done and had me on the edge of my seat for the whole thing. Just loved this story. So this is my new favorite story. Yeah say that about all the books I read in theses series. It is not might fault they just keep getting better.I would love to know if anyone out there knows the authors other penn name. I have searched with little luck. Of course I am not great with the internet so that could be the problem. Any ideas I would love to hear from you. Please just leave a comment if you know. Thanks..
